Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is a durable and low maintenance material and is often the most cost-effective choice that boasts a long life span. It is easy to maintain and keep clean. Stainless steel is corrosion and oxidation resistant for a specified application or environment.

Please keep stainless steel away from dust contamination during building work. After installation, wipe down with soapy water as required.

The corrosion resistance of stainless steel is due to the presence of a chromium-rich oxide film on the surface. This film will self-repair if damaged. It may also be possible to remove minor scratches by re-polishing with iron-free abrasives. Please do not use steel wool.

Impurities and particles of other metals that find their way onto the surface of the stainless steel could eventually rust, unless cleaned or physically removed by re-polishing. Washing surfaces will help to reduce contamination and visual surface deterioration.

The following table shows the chemical component for three popular grades of stainless steel according to different standard.

Aluminum is lightweight, but strong. The surface can be made in various color and presentation. Generally, we make brushed and anodized finish in silver white color, unless otherwise requested. The most popular grade is ALU.6063, which shows good performance in strength and machining.

Aluminum is not suitable for coast area. The oxide layer cannot self-repair if damaged. Re-polishing is not allowed to be applied. Indoor usage is suggested.
